The movie.....He asked me to a movie....My heart thudded...no..ROARED inside my chest....

He was so cute...that dark hair...those deep brown eyes...perfection...and He asked me!   God!
My palms went wet immediately...and stayed that way for the days preceding that date....

We met at the show...afterall I was only 12...and He 15....Neither could very well drive now
could we?  I remember seeing him standing there....outside the theater waiting....my Mom
giving last minute admonishments to "Behave!"...and me...antsy!  Alive with that need just to
gaze into his eyes...

We went in...and sat very near the back...the lights dimmed...and his hand brushed my
thigh...GOD! I thought I was gonna' die!  Right there!  and I knew..Absolutely KNEW he had
hear the mad beating of my heart!  the way my breath caught when he touched me!   Oh Yes!
Hormones were RAGING! and then he slipped his arm around me...and i cuddled...the first time
I had ever been so close to a boy!  It was heaven!

It was clumsy...the way he bent forward...the way he closed the distance between our
lips...the warmth of his breath...his scent....my trembling....

And then our lips...Touched!...brushed so lightly....and I knew...I knew in that
moment....that place in time...that I would be his...forever his....and he mine.....

I married that boy....He was 18...I 16....That was 31 years ago...~*smile....and his
touch...still trills....his lips...still send rushes through this 43 year old schoolgirl......

He had just walked me home from a school dance, and we were standing on the sidewalk just outside
my house.  We were both stalling for time but pretending like we weren't. We were both feeling
pretty awkward.  I knew what I wanted him to do but I didn't know how to get him to do it. All
of a sudden he was looking into my eyes and I knew what was about to happen. It was like time
stood still just for that few moments, and I could feel the warmth of his breath as his lips
came closer and closer, my heart was beating so fast, that I was sure it was going to burst out of my chest.
It only lasted for a moment, but to this day, it was one of the sweetest kisses I have ever had.

My worst kiss was my first one of course as I did not know what to do and how to do etc...
so you can imagine, right!

Well I had been crushing on this guy forever and I went to a football game on my
birthday with a bunch of my friends. He asked me out at half time and I was toatally siked!!
At the end of the game, they had won, and fireworks were going crazy. We were walking on the
track when he took me in his STRONG arms holding me close to him and kissed me. It was soooo
romantic. It sure was a birthday I will never forget!
